OUR STORY

Restaurant Guru.heic

Poveracci is an Italian culinary heaven where every meal affirms "La Festa Della Vita" — The Celebration of Life. At Poveracci, we believe that life's most beautiful moments are savored at the table where stories intertwine with the aromas of freshly prepared Italian delights.

Our space is a confluence between the Mediterranean joy of living and the chic elegance of a modern European city. Here, celebrations become more than occasions; they transform into timeless memories. Whether it's a whispered conversation over a candlelit meal, the laughter that accompanies a family gathering, or the intimate 'cheers' of friends reunited, Poveracci encapsulates these moments in a stylish and heartfelt ambiance.

We invite you to escape the ordinary and step into a space where every day we celebrate life. "La Festa Della Vita" is not just our tagline but our promise to you. At Poveracci, life's daily hustle fades into a background of clattering dishes, vibrant conversations, and the irresistible charm of Italian hospitality.

Giuseppe Amato

Poveracci is more than a restaurant: it is the living dream of Giuseppe Amato, an entrepreneur from Sicily who, alongside his family, is blending the traditional “gusto” of Sicilian markets with the pulsating cosmopolitan beat of Berlin. Every toss of pasta, every shared laugh, is a tribute to the Amato family's legacy and the animated spirit of Italian culture.

Lillo Amato

Lillo Amato grew up surrounded by the aromas of his family’s kitchen, where food was more than just a meal—it was a way of bringing people together. Now the Head Chef at Poveracci, he carries that tradition forward, creating dishes that feel like home but surprise with every bite. He believes the best food comes from simple, high-quality ingredients, handled with care and a bit of creativity. In his kitchen, cooking isn’t just a job; it’s a passion, a craft, and a way to share stories through flavor.

Davide Amato

Davide Amato, the youngest of the Amato family, is carving his path at Poveracci. Learning from his brothers, he brings fresh ideas and energy, helping the family business grow while making his own mark.
